Overall Satisfaction with F5 Distributed Cloud WAF (Web Application Firewall)
We use F5 Distributed Cloud WAF as an additional layer of protection against common attack signatures / SQL Injection and to block traffic in specific Geo Locations.
Pros
- It is a simple tool to configure
- We have integrated with ELK , so it is very easy to identify the blocks
- It is really good to prevent security incidents
Cons
- I would like to have it integrated with TMOS, if I'm not wrong, we should create the policies manually on UI
- It definitively improved the security and efficacy in our internal systems
We implemented the F5 Distributed Cloud WAF for all exposed apps in our environment, it creates additional layer of protection and help our business to be safe in case of attacks.
