Flexible and Versatile Powerhouse
Overall Satisfaction with ClickUp
I use ClickUp to delegate tasks to employees and track time. As a remote business, it was important for me to be able to hold my employees accountable. It was also important for me to be able to have a centralized and powerful platform that I could plug the rest of my life into.
Pros
- Time tracking and reporting
- Task viewing and searching
- Assigning and reminders
- Prioritization
Cons
- Integration with Google Calendar
- Integration with Zoom
- Dashboards on the spaces and lists
- My activity on tasks, brainstorming, and trails of thought are never lost
- I use fewer additional tools (approximately 3 less)
My employees use the tool to track their progress on tasks and they mark the tasks with the appropriate statuses. I also really appreciate the tool to mark up PDFs and make assignable comments. That's quite the hidden gem! I also use this tool personally and it's been really helpful to have a log of recurring tasks and keep my notes in one place!
I used to need to use Trello and Slack and various sites for uploading and sharing documents, but I've been able to reduce my tech stack significantly. I still would like to be able to integrate better with Google Calendar, Zoom, and email better, but this certainly takes the edge off!
I walked away from so many other products that I tried primarily because I wanted to have a task and productivity tool that allowed me to re-envision my 'data' at the task level. I wanted to be able to have Gantt views and dashboard views and then dive in deeper with comments and activity within each task.
