Overall Satisfaction with ClickUp
Our company is a marketing, advertising, and consulting agency, but we also handle a lot of the project management for our clients. ClickUp has changed the way we track deliverables, schedules, and assignments for each of our clients -- ClickUp has also changed the way each individual team member organizes their own priorities and assignments. With our previous software, the functions and features were not all in one place, so we were using 3-4 different applications just to have the required features. With ClickUp, we now have all our desired features in one place. We have only used ClickUp since the beginning of 2025, and we are just scratching the surface in terms of the capabilities and features of ClickUp, and it has already changed the way our company operates.
Pros
- Ability to track progress of specific projects or assignments, while still tracking the progress of a major project as a whole.
- Assigning and delegating work - ClickUp makes it easy for each team member to track what is due and when, while also seeing the details or subtasks for each assignment.
- ClickUp allows for us to edit, modify, and re-build documents right inside of the app, while also keeping a track record of previous edits and updates.
Cons
- ClickUp could offer a guest access, specifically for clients who want to know progress or details of a project, without having to add as a new user or pay for access.
- ClickUp has room for improvement with the capabilities of the Personal List, as of right now subtasks are not able to be directly added to a Personal List, which makes the upkeep of the personal list tricky when the project is large and there are many subtasks that have the importance of a regular task.
- The notification settings could be modified, but more in detail. The user should be able to specifically customize what they get notified for, and what they don't. The current settings are in depth, but I still find myself being notified for projects or activity that I am not involved in, and the settings do not allow for me to specifically remove myself from those notifications.
- ClickUp has reduced our company's spending by 20%, allowing for us to have a software that has all the functions in one place.
- ClickUp has saved our company multiple hours of toggling between features of separate entities, we now have a "home base" of all the features and capabilities we need in a software.
- ClickUp has allowed for our company to clean up our processes for document and file management, saving us 1-2 hours per week.
Our collaboration has improved in the way we track our projects and tasks. ClickUp has changed the game for our company in terms of seeing progress, and being able to report updates or completions to the client. ClickUp has allowed for us to create views that are helpful to team members who are working on and completing tasks, while also creating a view that can clearly explain the progress and assignments to the client.
Our team has been able to simplify our productivity processes by keeping all of our written Standard Operating Procedures in ClickUp, while also being able to take the written SOP and turning it into a working list, for use during the project, as well as use for future projects that will follow the same workflow or process.
We used ClickUp because if offered the most versatility, while still remaining functional and efficient for our entire company. ClickUp offers features that save time for every team member, and it was very easy to implement and integrate within our company.
