We have used PostgreSQL using Amazon Relational Database Service (RDS) for our one of the product. Using it helped us to reduce the downtime to less than 0.01%. Most of the RDBMS configuration were already managed by AWS. It helped us in reducing the management of the RDBMS server from our team. With its help our product has grown due to uptime. It has the feature of the auto Scalability too which helped us to manage the traffic for our product. It has taken care of our databases backups too.

In my opinion, Amazon Relational Database Service (RDS) has provided better services in terms of Scalability and data Security as compared to its competitor. It helped us to manage our data using RDS server more efficiently and effectively. The high Availability helped us to make our product available to our end users. It Auto Scaling helped us a lot.
