Overall Satisfaction with ZoomInfo Sales

It's almost perfect, except for minor glitches and small number of inaccurate info. Makes sales easier and more efficient once you actually learn how to use the platforms.
We use ZoomInfo Sales and Engage for sales outreach. We focus on reaching out to companies that we know would specifically benefit from using our product and target prospects that would be directly involved in the decision making of using said product. It organizes our efforts as well.

Pros

  • Great Customer Service. Their reps are always polite, cheerful and helpful.
  • They have a space where you can educate yourself on how to use the different platforms and you can sign up for Live Webinars for a more interactive experience.
  • They fix their mistakes and compensate you for them.

Cons

  • I only have experience with SalesOS and Engage. So, concerning those two platforms, they are great for what they are intended but it can be a little complex. It took me hours of training (I'd dare say even days) to get the hang of how to use them. Still ended up needing one on one help to get Intent Topics and Workflows working.
  • I've noticed I typically have "Unstable Connection" notifications when making calls on the Engage platform which leads to "Call failed to connect" errors or sometimes the other person can't hear me when they do pick up. I thought it was all my WIFI's fault but noticed I have no connection issues when using Microsoft Teams. I don't know if the system is just a heavy internet data user. It can be a bit annoying.
  • I've come across several "glitches" throughout the course of my usage of mostly the Engage platform and it doesn't seem like there is a priority for fixing minor glitches. Instead, they try to see if there is a "workaround" which is ok except that it can make it more confusing for new users to realize "oh! I can still make this work; I just have to go about it this way". I guess, it really does go back to it sometimes being a bit complex. And then, there are things you can't do period, no matter how logical it would be. On SalesOS it has to do more with things related to editing company and contact profiles. It makes sense to me to be able to edit certain things on the spot for accuracy, but they have a "process of verification" and that takes a hot minute. I guess, though, that helps ensure users can't willy nilly change things all the time without making sure the changes are valid for the benefit of other users.
  • I'd say about 20% of the time the prospect information is outdated. Whether it's they're still being with the company or phone number inaccuracy. You can edit that information though, so it's one of those workaround situations.
  • We were able to improve our lists. We have not seen a ROI yet.
I feel I'm reaching people at the best time when they may be searching for a solution like ours.
