Remote access management software
Overall Satisfaction with Splashtop
We use it for remote management for all of our systems needing to be monitored with unattended access. We have Splashtop integrated with Datto. We have moved from TeamViewer to Splashtop and have no regrets from the switch. We utilize it with Android and Apple remote access version and operation systems.
Pros
- Performance is good able to stream many things at once.
- Android remote access works pretty well and the view only apple version is pretty good too .
- Up time is good and they have been adding a lot of features recently.
Cons
- Improvement to included AR with the license.
- Improve performance with tools like photoshop and AutoCAD.
- Time it takes to reconnect to a workstation after disconnecting.
- Grandfather users are forced to upgrade to new subscriptions.
- Splashtop comes included with Syncron.
- SOS unlimited will be the best deal for ROI.
Product is really good, and we have little to no problems with it. Splashtop seems to be both the right price, right license structure, and the SOS unlimited seems like it would hit right on the money with devices and features. Great tool for remote management software for all our systems.
The implementation process went pretty smooth. It works for our needs, simple and has the features we need. For essentially IT work and tasks it works well and seems to be real time responses. I wouldn't recommend for engineers to use for remoting into their system though. User friendly, even with less techie end users.
Yes - Yes, we used Splashtop to replace another product called TeamViewer within our organization. We have had no regrets from our switch and are happy with the program compared to what we moved from. We have little to no problems from the system and very minor major issues. Overall a good switch.
