Overall Satisfaction with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure

We use Oracle Cloud Infrastructure to deliver frontend apps and backend apis, automated with CI/CD pipelines to proceed with UAT/PROD deployments

Pros

  • Better performance than other providers (AWS, Azure)
  • Pricing structure is simple and predictable
  • Offers SLAs covering performance

Cons

  • User Interface is not very friendly
  • Availability regions should be increased
  • High learning curve for beginners
  • Increase the ROI by 15% with Test Automation hosted in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure
  • Reduce HW expenses by 25% with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure
  • Reduce Database/Storing expenses by 20% using Oracle Cloud Infrastructure
We do not see any UI latency when accessing Oracle Cloud Infrastructure control panel to monitor our cloud infrastructure.

In fact load quicker than Azure does in another subscription we have.

UI loads quicker than Azure
Cost performance is linear, not the same in Azure

Think it is less appropiate for small retail/industry/mortgage companies.
