Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I am using MailerLite to send bulk emails to people who have subscribed to wanting notifications about our meeting times, and recordings and summaries after the meetings end. By using this service, we're able to streamline how people sign-up for the email communications and it assists me with knowing how engaged my audience is.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Campaign builder is drag and drop
Automated emails send on specific triggers
Analytics help me know who in my audience is engaged.

Cons

EVERYONE should be allowed to at least use the AI bot chat feature. This doesn't take a person and is such basic customer service that it should be offered at all levels.
It would be nice if MailerLite worked better with AddEvent icons
When emailing support it took days to get a response (after an agent escalated the issue). Some concerns are more urgent and email support shouldn't mean bad support.

Return on Investment

Having an email service such as MailerLite is essential to running our Taskforce. It is really the only effective way of communicating with such a large number of people.
MailerLite works well with non-profits and gives a good discount for those in this sector.

Usability

Great campaign builder, landing pages, and automations. Decent analytics and good ability to segment audiences. The only thing that lowered the score was how customer service is tiered based on subscription level. Good customer service will sell more in the long run (e.g. word of mouth advertising), so it shouldn't be restricted based on how much a customer is paying.

Alternatives Considered

Intuit Mailchimp

MailerLite offers a similar service to MailChimp, but is less expensive. Hopefully the customer service with MailerLite will be better even with the tiered structure of customer service.

MailerLite is great for bulk emails where you need to communicate with a variety of people and also want to track their interaction with your communications. It is not appropriate for spam-style emails.
