- Optimizely handles multiple websites in an easy to navigate way
- It provides scaleable solutions for us to grow into as our program matures.
- Optimizely makes it easy for both content creators and web developers to leverage the tool.
Cons
- It has a steep learning curve. You need to have some background in testing to be able to adequately leverage the tool.
- Some points around metrics can be confusing when you first start.
- It requires a developer to get you set up on the tool. The basic setup elements are not enough to really get usable data from the get-go.
- Custom metrics are difficult to set up and require a developer to set up.
The ultimate tool for A/B testing.

- The Platform contains drag-and-drop editor options for creating variations, which ease the A/B tests process, as it does not require any coding or development resources.
- Establishing it is so simple that even a non-technical person can do it perfectly.
- It provides real-time results and analytics with robust dashboard access through which you can quickly analyze how different variations perform. With this, your team can easily make data-driven decisions Fastly.
Cons
- The price for Optimizely may be a bit prohibitive, mainly for smaller businesses or teams. Organizations that are at the scaling phase may not be able to afford it as the experimentation volume grows, so does the cost.
- Optimizely performs best with A/B tests, but the multivariate testing functionality becomes somewhat rigid and less intuitive.
- Apart from this, it needs to be updated regarding test duration and traffic considerations. For example, longer test durations are required to gather statistically significant results.

- anti-flickering
- audiences
- test-building
- easy to interpret reporting
Cons
- Improve use for new users. It is hard to get lost at first, even compared with its competition.
- Change between accounts is not as easy as in other tools, or at least not as visible as in other tools.
- Ease to access. Sometimes I use it on a daily basis and have to log in everytime I use it.

- I really like the results dashboard. I think it's really easy to read, to get results out of and to understand too, even from somebody who isn't in it every day.
Cons
- This is something little, but a developer will go in and change the code for the test and then to make it go live, they have to publish it, but a lot of times they don't publish it. They forget that step. Then they made a change and everybody thought it was fixed, a day goes by and someone's like, "Hey, this never happened." I don't know if it's some alert that's like, "Hey, you made this change publish." It would maybe be something you could do. I know it says that it was changed, it does say something, but for whatever reason that's not enough. I don't know if a popup or something, but that's a problem we run into a lot.

- Clear and simple requirements for each experiment you create
- A useful browser plug-in to preview and test experiments prior to publishing
- Clear data and analysis tool to share with key stakeholders
Cons
- I would love to see more video tutorials for the onboarding as it can be easier to follow along when learning the tools.
