Reliability was our major concern. Control-M runs many business critical processes for us and if our scheduler wobbles we all catch a cold :-)

Also, Control-M should have the ability to actively alert support staff in case of issues (proactively if possible).

Failover and disaster recovery should also come as standard (they do). Your scheduler has to be a 24x7 and 99.999% proposition.

Since Control-M started its life as an Israeli product, it is very common is Israel. In the beginning, when we had an issue, we could talk directly with the developers and solve problems faster.
