Overall Satisfaction with Syncfusion Essential Studio Enterprise Edition
The company's main product is an executive information system, essentially a data mart that is populated nightly during an ETL process. Syncfusion was used to create a separate website to maintain the vast amount of metadata used to drive the functionality of the main product. The Syncfusion driven website is comprised of about 80 pages, primarily datagrids only. We use ASP.NET Core. Some pages have master detail grids with a grid on top driving the content of the grid below. Others have subgrids within a grid and can be viewed and maintained by expanding a row in the master grid. We used treeview controls, menus, popup windows, and others. Not an extensive use of all of the controls available, but extensive use of datagrids.
Pros
- The datagrid's built-in functionality is extremely robust. Sorting, filtering, various columnar controls, moving columns, resizing, etc.
- The sheer number of controls available is comforting. Although we did not use most of them, it is good to know that they are they if we need them for this and other applications.
- The support is world class, even for a single developer company like us. I can't say enough good things about the support. They saved my behind more times than I can say. They are knowledgeable and responsive. The Chat feature is very useful.
Cons
- I'd give the documentation a B+. Most times I can find what I want but sometimes what I'm looking for is buried. Overall very good, but could be a little bit better.
- Datagrid functionality
- Word class support
- The site we developed enables non-technical users to maintain a large amount of metadata with a beautiful, easy-to-use interface, and prevents the need for them to log into SQL Server Management Studio to painfully manage their data. This significantly enhanced customer satisfaction.
Radzen seemed like a quality product but we needed more control over the interface than they could allow. I don't recall the details about Telerik and Kendo. I think Telerik also rated high but was more expensive?

Standard support is above and beyond for our small, one-developer company.
Yes - I've reported several bugs. Most were solved in a timely fashion. One or two were not resolved because of the complexity to fix. They were not very important in the grand scheme of things and probably did not impact many of their customers. They built up so much goodwill via their support team that we could overlook those minor issues.
There are so many that I can't even begin to select one.
