Overall Satisfaction with SAP Business Technology Platform

I use SAP Business Technology Platform's Integration suite and HANA cloud

Pros

  • Integration suite does application integration very well

Cons

  • It is not clear as to in which use cases should I use BTP and why I should use BTP.
  • can not use server less computing to develop the custom application. why BTP?
  • BTP Security is not straight forward and need some management option to speed up the role collection creation and management
  • Not all services are provided in all the regions. not having apps in all regions and cloud providers is leading multiple subaccount architecture and it is a huge operational overhead
  • BTP service costing is a pain to understand. make it simple and provide more options for customers to have a decent licensing criteria
not so much. clear path and guidance need to be provided
not so good. I'm struggling with HANA cloud SSO using IAS as a bridge. customer support and documentation has been pathetic. SAP Business Technology Platform can build more articles/blogs about business use cases to improve faster adoptability
