Overall Satisfaction with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure

We use Oracle Cloud for servers used in production and testing. Our problem was finding a reliable infrastructure provider with a data center in my country.

Pros

  • VCN is excellent for limiting the port attack vector.
  • Free tier gave us a quick test of what we could do.
  • The offer of arm and x86 cpu gave us options to optimize our work.

Cons

  • More Linux images.
  • VCN could have more tools to check how much traffic is going through an specific port.
  • Updated guides (current ones are a little bit stale).
  • Oracle Cloud helps us build and deploy apps quickly, getting our products out the door faster.
  • With real-time insights from Oracle Cloud, we can give customers personalized experiences that boost satisfaction.
  • Migrating to Oracle saves us cash on hardware and maintenance, which we can use for innovation and growth.
It's super easy to get started and deploy new stuff. The infrastructure is solid, so I can focus on building rather than worrying about tech issues. Plus, the customization options are endless—from picking the right computing resources to choosing storage and networking that fits our needs, saving us a lot of money.

Would you buy Oracle Cloud Infrastructure again?

Yes

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is a great fit when you need High-performance infrastructure for mission-critical apps that require low latency and high availability. Scalable compute services for big data analytics workloads that process massive datasets. Support for DevOps teams looking to streamline their development and deployment pipelines. But it might not be the best choice for Small-scale or low-traffic applications where you can find cheaper options elsewhere. Legacy workloads running on older tech like Oracle Solaris or Windows Server, where OCI's support may be limited.
