Overall Satisfaction with Google Compute Engine
We use it for cross platform software testing and its performance, earlier we were using VM Ware for the same but because Google Compute Engine grants you with more features to increase/decrease the core capabilities of the OS involved for the application testing, we are able to do regression testings more efficiently.
It helped us in identifying the key lacking areas/bugs during the initials phases of a product development.

Pros
- Networking via VPC (Virtual Private Cloud)
- Big Data Analysis/IoT
- Storage/Databases for Data Transfer
- Machine Learning for cloud based translations
Cons
- Third party integrations are very tricky, UI can be improved
- Artificial Intelligence is an area that can be clubbed together with Machine Learning for better result and future customisation
- Networking tools can be simplified for better structuring
- Its easy to measure the profitability, due to fix cost of supported products
- We were able to expand/research more towards utilising AI with Machine learning to increase the SaaS based output
- Azure Machine Learning, BT IaaS, Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), IBM Cloud Databases, Cisco Storage Area Networking and IBM Networking Services for Software Defined Networks
Google Compute Engine provides a one stop solution for all the complex features and the UI is better than Amazon's EC2 and Azure Machine Learning for ease of usability.
It's always good to have an eco-system of products from Google as it's one of the most used search engine and IoT services provider, which helps with ease of integration and updates in the future.

Google Compute Engine Feature Ratings
Evaluating Google Compute Engine and Competitors
- Cloud Solutions
- Scalability
- Integration with Other Systems
- Ease of Use
As Google Compute Engine is building a whole ecosystem, it'll help us with future scalability as most of the SaaS are now slowly transitioning from AWS to Google for better support and ease of integration with other tools that Google provides such as Google Analytics, etc.
Integration with other third-party systems is still a challenge, but otherwise, Google Compute Engine is a good to go IaaS provider.

I would love to ensure smooth integrations with third-party applications and for that I'd do a trial before signing up for the Google Compute Engine tools.
