Best password manager on the market
Overall Satisfaction with Bitwarden
We have thousands of passwords that were kept insecurely in Excel, Notepad, and pieces of paper everywhere around the building. With Bitwarden, we were able to consolidate them all securely and administer them to the proper people. We were also able to make several external accounts used by multiple people more secure by having a one-stop place to get MFA codes.
Pros
- Securely stores passwords
- Makes organizing them easy
- MFA repository for multi-user accounts
Cons
- keywords to help with searching
- an on-prem only offering
- setting for default owner and location settings
- Better pen testing scores to lower insurance
- Better management of passwords
- End of losing credentials and then having to recover them later
Bitwarden hasn't been hacked and is easy to implement. None of the others can say the same in both aspects.
