Give the facilitators the necessary skills to lead a multi-functional VAVE team and organize the basic process for interaction between concept specialists, leading engineers and manufacturing experts.
For using DFMA mainly during concept phase (also for acquisition projects) to make the right decisions in the 
early phase.

Provide detailed cost estimation in the concept phase (with or without CAD data).
Provides detailed cost estimation down to the process level in a comprehensible way.
Supports project teams with hints for product simplification.
Assists industrial engineers with cost and process assumptions for part manufacturing such as die casting, injection molding, hot forming, machining, investment casting, sand casting, sintering technology, sheet metal cutting, stamping and forming, forging, printed circuit board assembly, extrusion of plastics and metals, manual and automatic assembly... and many secondary operations such as welding, bonding, etc...
Enables cost engineers to document their own know-how for use in the concept phase for early optimization / frontloading.
